The Story
A caribou with a full, wide spread of antler, mounted at the shoulder.
Constructed over a sculpted internal form, the mount presents the animal in a direct, forward-facing posture. The natural antlers display classic characteristics of Rangifer tarandus, including flattened brow tines extending over the face and sweeping, multi-pointed main beams that arch outward and upward. The hide retains its natural colouration, transitioning from pale cream along the throat and neck to deep grey-brown across the muzzle and forehead.
Taxidermy shoulder mounts of this scale were typically prepared for country lodges, sporting clubs, or private collections, requiring careful balance and substantial wall clearance to accommodate the broad rake of the antlers.
