The Story
A shoulder mount of a mature fallow deer buck (*Dama dama*), modelled in a straight, alert posture with the head turned very slightly to dexter. The specimen displays a characteristic pale fawn and cream winter pelage, carefully shaped over an anatomical manikin to preserve the muscular definition of the neck and brisket. Inset glass eyes and modelled dark nostrils lend a quiet, attentive expression.
The head is crowned by a wide, well-balanced set of palmate antlers, displaying deep brow tines and serrated upper spatulas typical of a parkland buck. The mount is prepared for flush wall hanging without an integral oak shield, lending it an unencumbered profile suitable for panelling or modern interiors.
