The Story
A mid-20th century silver-plated presentation trophy cup raised on a moulded circular foot and mounted to a stepped ebonised plinth. The deep, tapering bowl is flanked by a pair of high-swept cast scroll handles terminating in foliate volutes at the rim.
Spun in brass or nickel alloy and electroplated, the body serves as a perpetual award cup. The exterior is extensively engraved in columns with names of winners and recipients spanning the late twentieth century through to 2004, including records from the mid-1990s onward. The piece retains an authentic, unpolished surface showing the typical gentle wear and patina of club competition.
